Daniel practices law in the areas of residential real estate, condominium, and civil litigation, with a focus on condominium litigation. He works with condominiums and unit owners across Ontario. He regularly contributes to the firm's blog and articles.
Memberships and Community Involvement
Daniel is involved in the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI), especially the Grand River, Golden Horseshoe, and London Chapters. He is a member of the Wellington Law Association and the Waterloo Law Association.
Daniel completed both a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Masters of Arts degree in history from the University of Waterloo, with a focus on the abolition of the slave trade/slavery in the British Empire. He then attended the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay where he received his Juris Doctor degree. He was called to the bar in 2017.
Hobbies and Interests
Daniel was raised in Kitchener-Waterloo and was happy to return to southwestern Ontario upon completion of his law degree. Daniel completed his Integrated Practice Curriculum placement at Sutherland Kelly LLP and was delighted to return as an associate lawyer. Outside of work, he enjoys all things science-fiction (especially Star Wars), attending live sports events (MLB, NHL, and NFL), traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
